Brief Answer:
Get an xray done.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to HCM forum.
Thanks for posting to us.

If there is pain followed by the incident, there is a probability that the bone has got stuck in the esophagus.

An x ray chest can clearly show this. If there is no bone seen on the x ray, it indicates that it has already passed down and we need not worry. If this is the case, the pain may be caused by an ulcer that has resulted which only needs analgesic support(along with acid lowering agents) and avoiding spicy food for 5-7 days.
If detected, we can remove this with the help of an endoscope.

So kindly see your doctor and get an x ray done.

Hope this answer will be helpful.

Wishing you good health.
