Suggest Treatment For Pain And Congestion In The Throat

default
Posted on Wed, 24 May 2017
Question: Dear Doctor,
I had an allergic reaction to penicillin-had congestion and pain in throat. Now I ahve stopped it, but the pain and congestion in throat continues.

My doc has asked me to take fexofenadine for reducing swelling and and declofenac for reducing pain. Is it ok to take both together? Also instead of fexofenadine, if I chose to take Levocetrizine, I would like to know if Levocetrizine and declofenac can be taken at the same time.

Thanks. Have a great day.

Allergic reaction

Hi
Welcome to Healthcare Magic and thanks for putting up the query
You can take levocetrizine instead of fexofenadine and it has no contraindication for diclofenac.
Wish you get well soon.
Thanks and regards
