Question: I have been peeing on myself in my sleep approx. 2 to 3 times a week. I am 55 years old. Should this kind of thing be happening to me? Its been going on for approx. 3 months. It is VERY embarrassing!

Brief Answer:
You might have what they call BPH. You need to see your regular doctor..

Detailed Answer:
Welcome to HCM. Please note that you may have retention of urine due to enlarged prostate and what this means is that you then have overflow incontinence, your bladder never fully empties and fills up quickly, other symptoms that you may see are that you cannot hold your urine, when you need to go you have to go, frequent trips to the bathroom during the day and at night, dribbling on your underwear, all this can be treated with specific medications, most common is called flomax. All this is assuming that your symptoms are not due to a Urinary Tract Infection of course. Good luck and take care.
