Question: Hi,
I gave birth back in 2012 and since then I has pelvic pain from just before ovulation to when I get my period. It feels like I m constantly cramping around the hip bones and whole lower abdomen. I never had this problem before I had my baby, only bad menstrual cramps. Now the bad menstral cramps are much lessen but turned into this. Any idea what it could be? Also trying to get pregnant with a second but no luck yet. Thanks in advance.

Brief Answer:
This could be PID or osteoarthritis of hip joint

Detailed Answer:
Hello ma'am
I had gone through your question diligently and I can understand your concern

Looking at your history this could be related to any of following
1. PID
2. Osteoarthritis of hip joint
3. Endometriosis
4. Uterine fibroid

To help you better I would like these information
Whether your previous pregnancy was normal vaginally delivery or cesarean section
do you experience any pain or burning sensation in urine?

I would advise for few investigations like blood for hemoglobin CBC Liver function test vitamin D and serum calcium study urine culture and an ultrasound or an X ray hip region

meanwhile please follow these guidelines
have plenty of fluids and fresh fruits
multivitamin and calcium supplements
maintain good hygiene
exercise regularly just relax enjoy a stress free life
avoid smoking and alcohol
