Brief Answer:
there are medications that may help

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Neuropathic pain can be treated. In some cases depending on the extent of injury to the nerves, it may also be cured though this can take a long time since the nerves take long to repair

Examples of the medications that are used for neuropathic pain are: lyrica, gabapentin, tegretol, amitriptyline, cymbalta

These medications were originally intended for depression/anxiety or persons with seizure but they have been found to be very helpful in persons with neuropathic pain.
They help with this pain in persons who do not have seizures or depression/anxiety

Finding out the cause may also help if it can be treated and controlled

Causes: (1)vitamin b12 or folate deficiency
(2)Diabetes
(3)infection eg shingles
(4)trauma to the area
(5)liver or kidney disease

Summary: (1) there are medications that may be able to help
(2)finding and treating the cause is also important

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
