Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query and faith.

Nerve / eye twitching all the time is definitely a big distress. May I know your city of residence, so that I can tell you whom to meet.

Tablets like Tryptomer / Tegritol / Gabapentin can help you, but for that you have to meet a Neurologist in you area.

Another possibility is injection of botox and needs to be done by a Doctor who is specialized into it. This is done by a Cosmetic Surgeon.

We need to check for calcium and vitamin D deficiency by a blood test. If there is eyelid twitching then eye infection may be the cause and seeing an ophthalmologist may help.

Please search in your area and give me a feedback so that I can guide you to have the best possible results.

Brief Answer:
Neurologist;s opinion, investigations and treatment.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX.

Yes, the most probable cause for the feeling of nerve twitching near the eye or otherwise elsewhere are the following:

Although the exact cause could not be found out by the medical research till now, the probable reasons can be attributed to ''stress and anxiety'' in general and that caused by the twitching itself.
There can be deficiency of Magnesium in the blood.
Some diseases of the nervous system too can cause these but needs detailed examination and investigations by the Neurologist to find the exact cause.
Abuse of some medicines or drugs like those taken for pain, cough - which I hope you are not taking.
This is called a benign fasciculation sundrome.

The best treatment option is to reduce the stress and the anxiety .
You can start or continue exercises, hobbies, outings, taking part in social events and activities ( which one avoids due to fear of being noticed ).
You can always take an opinion of an Ophthalmologist to rule out eye problem; of the Neurologist to get all the relevant tests, clinical / physical examinations, investigations and treatment as you need a prescription too.

Sitting in front of the screen most of the day does not give any chance for physical activities, reduces the interaction with people and society, get involved into monotonous activity. Yes, this can definitely add to the existing problem. You should get up from the screen at least for 5 minutes every hour. Please see if this helps.

Which Doctors to see :
First of all consult a Neurologist so that a proper diagnosis can be made on the basis of His clinical / physical examination, and to get a prescription for the medicines ( all medicines related to this problem are prescription based and can not be purchased without a valid prescription.
Eye Specialist helps us to rule out any eye-related problem.

Get the treatment going, reduce the stress to minimum or not at all, Change yourself to more active and social person, and you will be benefited a lot.

Botox injection therapy can be done only if the medical treatment fails and is given by a Doctor who is experienced in it.

I hope this answer helps you to get an insight of the problem you are facing, gives you an idea of how to go ahead and get treated to have a complete cure.
You have to help yourself a bit too by doing anything possible to reduce the stress and anxiety.

Thanks for reading patiently and try to follow strictly, please feel free to ask for more if you need to, You may please rate this answer.
