Brief Answer:
status migrainosus

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Thanks for posting a query,

The mainstay of treating acute attack of migraine is pain killers. Which you have already taken. The next level of medicine is using naproxen and sumatriptan which needs the prescription.

Usually migraine attack persists for 3 days if not reduced by 3 days then the condition is called STATUS MIGRAINOSUS. which needs to be treated differently by using steroids. This can be done only by a doctor.

As a home remedy you can try ice compression by wrapping ice in a clean towel and placing over fore head and neck. Alternate heat and cold compression using peppermint oil is known to give good relief. But don't know how it works in severe condition.

Any query do follow up,
Take care.
