Brief Answer:
Insect bite or measles or allergic reaction

Detailed Answer:
hi,

can understand your concern.

These rashes occur in children in insect bite, measles or allergic reaction to drug.

In insect bite, there is rash on exposed body parts like legs and hands. There is itching and redness around the insect bite. Usually there is history of going to park or old place which is not cleaned for a long time or using sofa or bed to sleep which is not used for long time. There is no fever.

In measles, rash occurs on whole body gradually and not on exposed body parts only. There is fever. Rash persist for 7 days.

In drug or food allergy, rash occurs simultaneously on all body and fever can be present.

By looking at the picture, it looks more like insect bite.

In my opinion, you can give anti-allergic medicine which contains hydroxyzine like syrup atarax 5 ml three times a day for 3 days. However, an examination by doctor should be done so that we may not miss any important finding.

I recommend you to get the child examined by a skin specialist doctor.

I hope this helps. Wishing your child good health. Take care.
