Suggest Treatment For Lump On Scalp

Question: I have a lump on the top of my head ( probably 3in x 1.5 in. ) I have noticed it for about 6 months . If I press on it , it is tender , otherwise it doesn't bother me which is probably why I have not done anything. I have an appointment with the nurse practitioner at the XXXXXXX clinic on December 28 ( my primary care physician is not available till early summer ). I have also noticed itchy scalp without flakiness for the past year and ear ringing for the last couple years. I find myself , this evening, convincing myself that I have non ocular sebaceous Carcinoma and making self quite upset and worrying my family . Any thoughts?
