Question: I am currently having low back pain with spasms, but also I am having a toe on my right food the 2nd toe that feels like it has a string around it. What could that be?

I have had this for approximately 2 weeks.
I do not have diabetes, thyroid issues and have never smoked
My medications are Prilosec, Lexapro 10 mg qd, Advair 1 150/50 1 inhalation qd
I have had sciatica in the past, but have never had the toe issue before. That has started in the last week

You need to get MRI of the spine

Hello,
I have studied your case and I think you are having sciatica. Nerve compression can cause such symptoms. I have following suggestions for you.
1.Get MRI of the spine to see how severe is compression. It will help in planning of further management.
2.You also need to get serum b 12 estimation.If there is deficiency then you need to take tablet Methylcobal one daily.
3.Tablet Pregabalin M (lyrica) at night time daily.
4.Back muscle physiotherapy is helpful for you.
