Answered by Dr. Dr. Muhammad Sareer Khalil (52 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
Kidney stone size

Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome

I appreciate your concern

Kidney stones can be passed spontaneously if the size is less than 7 mm. Potassium citrate can be useful in passing a stone as well as preventing calculi and concretion formation. Adequate hydration , urine straining along with tamsulosin can be advised as measures for passing the stone naturally.

Based on the nature of the stone e.g whether its a uric acid or calcium oxalate stone, the appropriate diet modifications can be applied to prevent further increase in the size of the stone.

Wishing you best of health

Thanks
