They ask me how I feel after the 3 day I said I m fine. The Batrrium work according to the Dr, when he test the antibiotic on the E.coli . So I stop taking the antibiotic . After 10 days I went back to the urgent care again to test my urine, they said I still have little. So this time they put me on Microbid. I been on it almost 5 days now I still run to the bathroom a lot and itchy . I been itchy even before it took Batrium. I have no yeast infection. This antibiotic doesn't work as well as Batrium. Brief Answer:
Repeat a urine culture

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing..
I understand your concern..

In my opinion, get a urine culture and if there is bacteria, take antibiotics which has the highest sensitivity.. Can you attach the culture report which you have?

Get a vaginal swab for culture and sensitivity even if you are asymptomatic.. If there is yeast growth take treatment. Clotrimazole vaginal pessary is very effective in vaginal yeast.

E coli is organism present in stool. So extreme care should be taken while washing the genitalia to prevent reinfection. Wash the area from front backwards, it means first vagina and urethra has to washed followed by anus.. Keep the area dry. Treat the sexual partner also. Use condom till infection heals completely..

Hope I have answered your query. Feel free to ask any doubts.. good day..
