Suggest Treatment For Itchy Rash That Is Spreading

default
Posted on Fri, 19 Sep 2014
Question: I was scratched by my puppy and now have a very large, intensely itchy rash that seems to be spreading. It has been getting worse for about 12 days. He scratched me after a long hike to a lake. Lots of poison ivy, and he also went in the lake.

Brief Answer:
Take Fexofenadine and apply Siloderm

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX

That rash looks nasty. Must be very irritating. I advice you to take Tab Fexofenadine 180mg twice daily and apply Siloderm ointment twice daily after washing and drying the area.

Please see your Doctor at the earliest for the possible diseases which could be contracted due to the local flora and fauna. It is important to take an opinion from your GP or Dermatologist for the same.

Do let me know if there are any further clarifications I can help with. If not please go ahead and rate this answer. Take care.
