Question: Hello Doctor,
I have a rash on the back of my head, down my neck and around my chin. It is sore, but with become extremely itchy, then the area I scratched will have a burning feel. There are bumps. I can't see them but when I comb my hair that area hurts and I can feel the comb going over them. I do get blood and a scab once in a while.

I have gone through your query. Your problem can be most likely seborrheic dermatitis. If you send a close clear picture of lesions it will be more helpful to identify.

Shampoos containing clobetasol , ketoconazole and salicylic acid will be helpful for this. This should be applied daily when you get an attack. Once it subside then you can use twice daily. It should be applied and left it for 10 minutes before washing.
