Suggest Treatment For Itching In Anal Area And Bloody Stool After Delivery
Question: hi,
my wife has recently deliverd babay boy (21-10-2014). she is suffering from hypothyroid medicine 75 mcg . since last two three days she has feel of light itching in her anus area and one rash or cut we can say found. and from that cut. littel blood is coming when she is passing stools .
at the time of pregency she was havin pus cells in her urine
pls advice

I suggest you to repeat urine routine to see presence of pus cells. If they are increased in number, then you may need to further investigate. If already done and it is normal then no need to worry.
Urine pus cells and fissure are not related to each other. For fissure you need to start sitz bath(sitting in tub filled with warm water with 2 tsp dettol for 20mins 3 times a day, so that anal region is soaked properly) and ointment(containing xylocaine, zinc and mild steroid) 3 times a day and take cremaffin syrup (only if she has constipation). You may discuss this with your doctor.
For hypothyroidism, you need to get thyroid profile done after 3 months of last testing. Fissure is common after and during pregnancy.
