I am Dr XXXXXXX pleased to answer your query
Yes, there are many treatment available for this-
local ointment, NSIADs, specific physiotherapy and rest.
If no improvement then steroid injection can be helpful, but it all depends on severity of problem and can be assessed by clinician.

I am 51 years old male. one year back one day I suffered at my work place a moment of giddiness with a little loss of memory like forgetting the day and it s date and computer password etc. After 15 minutes of taking an antacid it came to normal. After that through investigations I was diagnosed with gall stone and spondilytes. I took medicines but not of much help. Now I feel pain in the neck muscles and with a little giddiness. Is it really a mere spondilytes or any thing related to nerve or brain ?

my 12 yr old daughter Alexis has had severe back pain, leg pain, neck pain, fatigue, shortness of breath and generally just feeling unwell for 2 months. All blood tests came back normal except for 2 Lyme titers which came back positive. However the dr feels this is a false positive and wants to run another test in 3 months. He doesn t want to start her on antibiotics.

I have a pins & needles feeling deep into my left armpit that radiates down the inside of my arm to my elbow, several times during the day. Occasionally while this is happening, i will also have burning pain in the same shoulder - rotator cuff area radiating down the outside of the arm to the elbow. When this happens suddenly and is intense it scares me into thinking I may be having a heart attack, but I don't have any other symptoms, no shortness of breath, no heavyness, no sweats, otherwise I am a healthy 51 year old female. I thought it could be a pinched nerve, but would it come on so suddenly, last for about 15 mins, then subside. This first happened 6 months ago and then again 2 weeks ago. I don't have any neck pain when this happens. Can you have a pinched nerve w/o neck pain?
