Suggest Treatment For Insect Infestation On The Hands

Question: I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and other chronic illnesses, my concern is that I have been bitten, and burrowed by some type of soil mite and/or other mite/insect(s). I'm getting concerned because none of the regular repellents really work, I can't sleep, and my husband thinks they'll go away or should have gone away already since I cleaned the house and clothing. Any suggestions? They are on my scalp and I don't know what to do?

Brief Answer:
Are these mites bothering only you

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
welcome to HCM,

Are these mites bothering only you or do they bother your husband too? If they have been bothering both of you, there is a problem and it needs to be addressed. Have you seen the insects? Since you have tried cleaning and fumigating at your level the option remains of calling for professional help.

But if it is bothering only you, then I would suggest you try an anti allergic tablet like Fexofenadine 120 mg once a day. Sometimes when we have been bitten, the allergic reaction to it remains and gives us a sensation that something is still there. The anti allergen may take care of that.

Regards
