Question: I have gained at least 25 pounds in a two week times span and the lower abdomen is kind of hard not soft something is wrong. The only change in my diet was a salad from McDonalds far from the 3000 calories over what i need to burn to gain weight any insight? I am going to the bathroom on a regular basis i am going to go to the emergency room soon

I read your query and understood your concerns.

You are gaining weight associated with distended lower abdomen, which are signs of water retention. Water retention depends on salt intake.

Since everything started after adding the Mc XXXXXXX salad to your diet, you should stop it immediately. Mc XXXXXXX salad although hasn't many calories it may have more salt causing water retention.

Based on the drugs you are taking it seems that you have heart failure and if you were my patient I would add the dose of water pills (furosemid and spironalacton) by taking one more pills.
Moreover if the weigh gain continue after stopping the salad or you will experience shortness of breath you should go to ER.
