Brief Answer:
Yes, bad posture during daily activity and sleeping can cause that.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thank you for using Healthcaremagic to post your health query.
I read carefully your question and I understand your concern.

Pain in the back of the head is mostly from bad posture or sleeping position.
Be mindful of any activity that involved keeping your head, neck and shoulders not in correct position, because it may be the cause of the problem.
Yes, that can cause this type of headache, and it can last for 2 weeks, if the factor that is causing it consists.

My recommendation is to try to avoid that factor once you identify it.
Acetaminophen is not helpful in reducing the inflammation of the muscles so I would recommend trying Ibuprofen 400mg every 6-8 hours after food, unless you have any contraindication to use it.

Also, you can use a local analgesic cream and massage the area gently.
Ice/heat may help too.

If not better with these uses, then you might need physical therapy. The physical therapist will be able to identify the problem in posture or the muscles that are contracted and advise specific exercises for you to strengthen the muscles and hold the right posture.

If the pain does not get better after using Ibuprofen, that is an indication that you need to see a local neurologist who can identify the cause of this new pain.

Hope this is helpful.
Let me know if you need more clarifications.
