Suggest Treatment For Greenish Runny Stools

Question: Hi. In the past week i have had greenish stool aswell a bit runny. It goes back to normal colour the next day. Any ideas what could cause that?is it concerning?

Thanks for contacting HCM

You are concerned about having green colored stool with mild diarrhea. This is a common problem and usually associated with changes in the bacteria flora of your colon. This is only for a short time and then the usual bacterial flora resume to normal. If you have been on any antibiotics recently or have taking any new medications this maybe the root cause of the change.

Since things have returned to normal you have nothing to worry about.
