I have been taking my temp. and it goes from 95.6 up to 101.6 and happens that way at about everyweek.

I have looked at your symptoms. The periodicity of this fever do not make for an acute infection. However, there are certain disease conditions that can cause cough and fevers. One of the most commonly known is tuberculosis. This often happens in persons with a weakened immune system like elderly, cancer patients. diabetes, etc. If you have most of the symptoms that I have asked about above, I may reluctantly request that you should be evaluated for the possibility of TB.

Thank you so much Dr. Ditah. I took your advice and with to the doctor and found that I did not and TB, thank goodness, but told me it was a good thing that I came in. As I had a baterial infection and was able to treat it. He told me that with the sign I was showing it could have just as well have been TB. I fell so much better and do appreciate your help in this matter. Hope you have a very good day, XXXX
