Suggest Treatment For Fever, Fatigue And Diarrhea In An Infant

Question: My 2 month old baby flaring nostrils occasionally specially when he is awake. Is occasional flared nostrils is cause of some kind of respiratory problem.

Also in previous week check of my son,my pedestrian observed heart murmur and told us that he didn't observed in previous chekups. He told that he will again observe after one month and will suggests us for the next action if he observed again. Please tell me the concern of this problem.

My baby feed well and has no symptoms like fever,fatigue,diarrhea or blueness in lip ,fingertips or anywhere.

I have gone carefully through your query and understand your concerns. Let me assure you that occasional flaring of the ala of the nose is unlikely to be a cause for concern. Unless the respiratory rate (the number of up and down abdominal movements in one full minute) is more than 50-60 times per minute it is not a cause for concern.

It is hard for me to comment about the murmur without listening to it. Subsequent follow-up or an Echocardiogram should help in clearing the doubts.
