Brief Answer:
Mostly Acute sinusitis.
Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thanks for posting the query. I will try my best to help you with this problem.

After going through the description given by you, I am of the opinion that, you are suffering from Acute Sinusitis.

Acute sinusitis is a condition wherein the previously empty sinuses get blocked due to flu or nasal allergy. Blocked sinus openings trap the secretions and make the head heavy. If left untreated, the secretions get infected, giving rise to various other problems such as, facial pain, headache, earache, fever, etc.

Earache is because of the blocking of the Eustachian tube (the tube connecting nose and the ear), secondary to the sinusitis.

My suggestions to you are:
1. Drink plenty of warm water.
2. Do steam inhalation 3-4 times a day.
3. Use saline nasal spray, for nasal douching, clearing the sinuses and retained secretions.
4. A mucolytic such as ambroxol or bromhexine to reduce the consistency of the secretions.
5. If you do not get better with above measures within a couple of days, please consult your doctor for a complete examination and management.

Hope I have answered your query; I will be available for the follow-up queries.
