Suggest Treatment For Dyspepsia With An Irritable Bowel

Question: Hi Doctor I have been having gastric issues since a long time . My bowel movment is also never smooth . It is always broken and irregular. My LFT was a bit deranged report attached. Also I underwent an endocopy in 2011 which showed GERD GASTRITIS and H-Pyroli. I was prescribed medicaitons for the H-Pyroli and hard antacids for two weeks. This created havoc to my digestive system and It is still not normal. I cosulted some splcist who said that your flora/fauna balance is broken. I was prescribed Velgut which I never took . What should I do now?

Need not worry, can take velgut which was prescribed to you, also can consider taking isapgula husk available in various names like fabolite/ cremadiet 2 tsp at night and see how you feel. Also can take an antacid like pantoprazole 40 mg once a day and see how you feel.
Lifestyle modification will help you.
1) Eat on time
2) take adequate sleep
3) regular walking will help
4) do not sleep 2 hours after meals
5) cut down on stress and anxiety
Also your liver function test shows mild abnormality. Need not worry, stop alcohol if any and repeat test after 3 months.

All this will help you to control symptoms in long run.
