Suggest Treatment For Dryness In Nose Along With Irritation And Pressure In Mouth
Question: A few years ago, someone i use to know, tried to make some plant extract for medicinal values, they failed to do so properly but trusting them i also put this chemical in my nose as well.
Now im concerned because 4 years later ive recently been experiencing dryness in my nose, odd clear fast drying mucus, sticky mouth and tonge, stuffiness, irritation, pressure, some pain at times, dry eyes, and an acute burning sesnsation.
Im wondering what a doctor would be able to do to help?
Attached is a list of the suspected chemicals, and there are others- he used muric acid mixed in naptha to absorbe the desired substances, and the he dried the naptha, to a crystal compound, and thats what we insuffulated.

It was one ocassion id estimate 2 grams of this stuff snorted across both nostrils and once the desried effects were not produced use was discontinued.
The first 2 years i had no real signs of discomfort other than a random and an acute sharp pain would manifest for a few moments in the nose then subside.
years 3 to now the symptoms are as followed(intermittent):
Pressure in head, particuarly the temples, and jaw, massaging these areas mitigates the pressure.
Eye pressure/pain and sometimes a headache for a few hours occasionally.
A burning sensation or heat inside of the nasal cavity at times.
Chemical smell sometimes, it smells earthy but chemical.
Really stuffy nose
Daily:
Dryness of the mouth, and stuffiness in the nose.
No booger formation.
Sometimes I use the netipot to clean to the cavity out, but at times this causes air pain.
I was using Flonase and another steroid nose spray but stopped because of some inflammation I'd get then I'd have to massage the back of my throat to relieve the pain.

It is true that some of the elements in the substance you inhaled can cause nasal congestion, nosebleeds, damage to the nasal septum but this happens in repeated inhalation or prolonged exposure.
Any significant damage doesn't happen in a unique exposure.
Even if one unique exposure has caused inflammation and damage on the nasal cavity ,the symptoms would have appeared soon after the exposure and not after 4 years.
So the symptoms you are having might have nothing to do with that episode.
Some causes for your symptoms might be allergic rhinitis ,chronic rhinitis, sinusitis etc.
You need to consult an ENT doctor and get examined to find the cause of your symptoms because it is not related to episode of 4 years ago.
