Question: I am a 78-yr.-old white male, with Myasthenia, Hypertension, Osteoarthritis, Neuropathy of feet. When I arise in morning I feel great - clear-headed and "ready to go". About an hour after taking my morning meds I am dizzy, tired and somewhat confused. My meds are:
Lisinopril - 20 mg.
Aspirin - 81 mg.
Gabapentin - 600 mg.
Protonix - 40 mg.
Mestinon - 60 mg.
Hydrochlorothiazide - 12.5 mg.

Which meds., or combination of, is most likely to cause these symptoms?

Thank you.

Brief Answer:
gabapentin probably

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

the most likely drug to cause these symptoms is gabapentin. Dizziness for example occurs in 17% of patients taking it (depends on the dosage). The higher the dosage the most likely for the side effects to occur. Since gabapentin is not critical for your condition and won't affect you much if you don't take it, you can try stopping it for a couple of days to see what happens.

Remember to contact your doctor before making any changes to your regimen though!

I hope it helps!
Kind Regards!
