Suggest Treatment For Diverticulitis

Question: I found out i have diverticulotus two days ago...but they couldnt find any stones in my gallblader, however i have all the symtoms...i eat and it hurts now i cant eat anything heavy...i have been getting pain in the left side and right side of back under shoulder blade...around 4-5 these past days it been getting worse...i couldnt eat yesterday and today just had activia cause ive been contapated again for 3days my weight was 225lbs and today was 218.4lbs...still blurr vision with headaches and very shaky in mornings and afternoon only, i still have no energy and chest pains, hard time sleeping cause of pain and lack of air...i have attached my blood work...can it be gallbladder deases

Yes I can do that...I still haven't been able to use the bathroom...constipated ...I'm getting severe pain in the upper part of my belly if I touch doesn't hurt much but if I touch the belly button it hurts like crazy it radiates upper left and middle...I'm so worried but tired to go to emergency.
The blood work is within normal levels however everyday I feel worse and when I think it's getting better Is not.

Hi,

I have gone through your reports and noticed as following:
- high leukocytes with high lymphocytes: indicative for infection
- proteinuria: indicative for urinary tract infection or kidney infection

You might have been experienced diverticulitis (infected) which should need antibiotic treatment together with treating urinary tract infection.

Once you get them well treated, the symptoms will be subside.

Meanwhile, I advise to
- drink lots of water
- avoid coffee,energetic,carbonated drinks
- limit salt intake
- take fiber and stool softener supplementation

Now i have a lot of pain in my upper left and middle quadrent. Hurts a lot when i lay down and when i bend or lift my lower left quadrent hurt. Im using the bathroom alot the stool looks very light in color, smells and is flooting sometimes. Ive been trying to tell my doctor but they keep ignoring me. Ives been getting chills and sweats and very tired and nauseas my gerd been acting up alot too. I dont know what to do, emergency wont help unless i bleed.

Hi there,

The pain in your upper left and middle quadrant are indicative for diverticulitis attack, for which antibiotics are needed.

Although no gallbladder stones have been noted, your lab test are indicative for a source of infection in your body, especially for urinary tract infection. Again, antibiotics are needed to improve the symptoms. I usually recommend ciprofloxacin to my patients for at least 10 days.

Next having lose stool light in color, and smelling, it is also indicative for diverticulitis or bowel infections.

That's why I highly recommend to schedule an immediate appointment with your physician to find out the real problem and get treatment in time.

I will make an appointment now my poop is like a red orange with the same color...still have the pain in the upper abdomen and now the right upper also hurt...im just waiting on my referels...i thought i saw blood in stool but now sure so i will wait for my appointment...if pain get severe and stool gets worse or if i see more blood should i go to emergency.
