Brief Answer:
If aggressive intervention cannot help, can wait and watch

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for asking.
I am Dr. Prakash HM and I will be answering your query.

Sorry to know about your fathers present condition.

Unless, it has been decided that his recovery is not possible, every attempt should be made towards helping/ reviving him.

I am not sure about his present physical condition, as there are no laboratory results available, but if the treatment is not going to help, you can along with family involved decide the next step.

If aggressive interventions is not going to be helpful, can wait and watch. Immune system could improve and he could recover.

Palliative care for pain and comfort measures can be continued.

In the event of immune system further failing, recovery will be very difficult.

Hope it helps.
