Brief Answer:
Hi, thank you for the query.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,
Welcome to HCM.
I understand your concern.
Most likely colitis is what you are referring to increased stool frequency, incomplete evacuation and abdominal pain.
If these are the symptoms it could be irritable bowel syndrome.
But if they are accompanied by blood in stools, severe abdominal pain, loss of weight or appetite, fever then needs to be urgently evaluated.
To begin with get a complete blood count, ESR, Stool routine examination and a thyroid function tests in a reliable lab.
Stop taking unnecessary antibiotics instead can take isapgula husk and a probiotic like VSL # 3 once a day available over the counter till reports are done.
Once these test if show any abnormality or symptoms are persistent then worthwhile getting an colonoscopy done after consulting an gastroenterologist.
Also stop worrying, eat on time, take adequate fiber in diet.
All this will help you in long run.
Hope this answers your query.
Wish you a speedy recovery.
