Considerations

Detailed Answer:
hello and thank you for sending the question.

You have had a number of major surgeries in a very short period of time. Each of these surgeries typically requires a significant period of recovery and rehabilitation.

I suspect that your body and muscles are weak which is what is contributing to some of what you are reporting.

for this type of situation I generally recommend physical and occupational therapy for my patients. This can sometimes be done in the home. Therapist and visit with you and work on exercises and strategies to minimize risk of falling and maximize your functional ability.

in addition your doctor might request some screening laboratory studies including a complete blood count and metabolic panel to make sure there are no electrolyte abnormalities, kidney or liver dysfunction which are complicating your recovery.

again you have been through a number of major surgeries which will require some time to recuperate. I think physical therapy within your home would be an excellent option. Please contact your doctor to discuss this potential line of therapy.

Thank you again for sending your question.

Sincerely,

Dr. Galamaga

Detailed Answer:
hello again.

The lack of energy could be related to deconditioning and weakness of your muscles. Also it is possible that you might have some abnormality such as anemia, electrolyte abnormalities or possibly even dehydration which could be also contributing to your symptoms.

I would recommend a full discussion, consultation and physical examination with your primary physician to help get to the bottom of this.

Thank you again for sending your question.

Sincerely,

Dr. Galamaga
