Question: Hello, I am submitting a question today in regards to a burning sensation in the throat. I've had it for a week and a half two weeks worth pretty much a constant burning ssensation as opposed to a sore throat.
I have had no fever
Some post drip but thats about it. Some heaviness in the chest feeling. I does seem to be more my left side. Almost like a feeling that i have talked to much but i havent. I have calltg the doctor and waiting to see when i can come in.
I tend to think the worst and think throat cancer :/

Plesse let me know you opinion

Brief Answer:
please dont worry!! you dont have cancer!

Detailed Answer:
Hello

from your symptoms it looks like you may be aving reflux or a sinus infection causing post nasal drip.

Both these conditions will cause swelling in the throat and which can cause a feeling of lump in throat.

If you are very concerned, i would like you to meet your ent doctor , who will do an endoscopy on you and tell you what is going on your throat.

Please dont worry
take care!
