Brief Answer:
Detailed ENT examination required- Might be chronic sinusitis.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. I would like to ask you few more details.

Is there any sequence of sneezes?
Is your nasal block associated with dripping of secretions (behind the nose, into throat)?

Kindly get back to me with details.

As per your clinical details, it appears to be
1. Chronic sinusitis secondary to allergy : causes head-ache and post nasal drip (secretions), which induces regurgitation of partial digested food or nausea.

2. Cervical spine instability can cause painful neck movements, pain radiates to arm.

I suggest you to consult an ENT surgeon and give detailed history (allergic rhinitis), get detailed ENT and neck examination (deviated nasal septum, cervical spine), blood tests (absolute eosinophilic count, IgE and hb%). If necessary CT scan of para nasal sinuses (to know bony abnormalities and sinus blockage).

Treatment can be started according to the investigations.

Hope this answers your question, if you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.

Wishing you good health.

Brief Answer:
surgery is the choice in chronic sinusitis.

Detailed Answer:

Hello again,
Thanks for considering my answer and for your follow up.

Dripping of secretions behind the nose and duration (5years) suggests chronic sinusitis with deviated septum.

As such, medications will not help in chronic cases, because deviation(bony septum) and blockage of osteomeatal complex can be corrected only through surgery. Kindly go ahead.

Related to your cervical spine problem, soft collar with physiotherapy will be beneficial.

Hope, I have answered your query.

Take care.
