Suggest Treatment For Anal Pain When Diagnosed With Hemorrhoids

Question: Hi Doctor,

My father has been suffering from piles. He feels pain and etching at the Anal opening post latrine. He has been prescribed the sake (of borax powder in lukewarm water ) and application of pilex ointment after that.

From last 2 days, the pain is immense and he is not even able to Walk and getting fresh.

Kindly prescribe based on above details.
Please be advised, he had been a case of paralysis and on dosage of aspirin and tablets for bp.

Thanks for the query.
I have read your query and understand your concern.
I would advise you the following things for immediate treatment.
Continue the hot FOMENTATION.
Stop pilex ointment
Use ANOVATE ointment twice a day. Once at bed time and once after passing stool in morning.
Apply lignocaine ointment few minutes before going to pass stool.
Take a laxative like CREMAFFIN 15 ml at bed time to make your stool soft.
Consult a surgeon for proper assessment of your situation.
I hope above measures would help you immediately but further treatment can be decided by the surgeon.
