Question: everytime I eat I feel extremely bloated and I have a sluggish bowel movement right away. I feel so uncomfortable throughout the day . I feel like puking as well and indigestion, bloating, acid buildup , abdominal bloating

I have read your query and understand the concern about bloating.

From the facts you have shared here,I would like to say that symptoms of bloating of stomach and acid build up are likely because of acute gastritis with indigestion,the first possibility I will think in your case.

At present, I would suggest you to try some symptomatic over the counter medications with STRICT dietary precautions to get some relief.

1) Take over the counter antacids tablets like Tab.Pantoprazole 40mg or Tab.Rabiprazole 20mg with Tab.Gas-X twice daily to get relief from the symptoms of gas trouble or bloating and acidity.

2) Take syrup Digene 2 TSF three times a day, will also be helpful.

3) Avoid hot,oily and spicy foods and prefer HOME food. Take soft diet only for initial few days.

4) Avoid eating full stomach one at a time rather, take small meals frequently.

5) Avoid complex carbohydrates like beans, potato and carbonated beverages and milk based products which are hard to digest.

6) Drink plenty of water and fruit juices.

7) Digestive enzymes (like Unienzyme once daily which is available over the counter) will also be helpful in the digestion of carbohydrates and minimize the gas production.

8) Avoid talking which eating, as doing so may also cause further gas formation inside stomach.

With above symptomatic treatment and dietary precautions,we would expect to see some improvement within 2 or 3 days.

But in case if problem persists longer or even after above precautions, then it would be advisable to see physician or gastro-physician for further evaluation..

thank you so much for the help. I have attached pictures and that's how bloated my stomach is. I also cannot gain any muscle or burn any belly or chest fat. I have been training for 4-5 years in the gym and cardio as well. could this be from low testesterone? please help me

Welcome again,

I have seen the attached pictures and gone through your query again,

For stomach bloating,you can try above mentioned symptomatic treatment with dietary precautions and for body fat,it is very unlikely to be due to low testosterone levels.

I would suggest you to rule out thyroid dysfunction by getting thyroid function tests checked if not done earlier. We will think about the other possibilities later on.

For an aim to lose weight and burn extra belly/chest fat, you must expend more calories through regular exercises and at the SAME time eat fewer calories.

When it will be done consistently, you'll end up with a daily caloric DEFICIT and you may reduce weight 2 to 3 kg with extra fats every month which would be more than sufficient.

For that, I am sure you can find a good diet plan from a nutritionist but here i will give you some tips regarding diet and exercises which will be helpful to you.

1) Avoid high carbohydrates and fatty foods,take high protein diet.

2) Avoid oily sabjies and ghee on chapati.

3) Avoid outside foods and even ice-cream strictly.

4) Take as much as water in a day as it is flushes the all system from metabolic wastes and toxins.

5) If you want to snack, make sure it is healthy, low fat, low calorie snack.

6) Eat more fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grain products.

7) Do not skip meals, you will end up in overeating later.

8) Start your day with a healthy breakfast. Doing so, will make you feel less hungry throughout the day.

9) Avoid late night snacking.

10) Complete your dinner 2-3 hours before going to bed.

11) Keep a record whatever you eat. Plan meals a week advance and stick to it.

12) Replace coffee or tea with black tea or green tea.

13) Do not use any weight losing pills (like Reshape) which may cause several side effects.

14) Continue with regular cardio exercises like brisk walking, jogging, tread mill, cycling or swimming for about 30 to 45 mins which is considered ideal for weight loss and to loose extra fats.

You may start with 15 minutes initially and gradually add 5 to 10 minutes every day to reach 45 minutes.

15) Try sit ups and abdominal crunches to tone up the abdominal muscles.

my last question is that my friend has gained alot of weight through stress and anxiety mostly. She tries to workout but she has rapid heart beat. everytime she walks or jogs her heart beat is extremely high . is this a health relation or signs of adrenal fatigue ? how can she lose the weight without exercise ? please help . thanks so much .
