Suggest Treatment For Accidental Intake Of BP Medicines
Question: I accidently took my blood pressure medicine twice-diovan and amlodipine.
Will it be ok or do I need to go to the ER?

You have taken double dose of both diovan and amlodipine. Now you have not mentioned the doses.
The dose of diovan can be upto 320 mg daily. and dose of amlodipine can be upto 10 - 20 mg daily. BP of 127/61 is still reassuring. The concentration of these medicines in blood will lower within a day. In my opinion you will do just fine.
Just watch for any unusual symptoms like dizziness, headache, pain in abdomen, etc. Do not get up suddenly from sitting or lying down position. Mix some salt in lime water and drink that if you experience dizziness. In such a case you would like to see a doctor.
