Suggest Treatment For UTI

default
Posted on Mon, 23 Jun 2014
Question: I was treated for a UTI about a week ago. I was on an antibiotic for 5 days, twice a day. I no longer have any pain when I urinate, but the frequency and the urgency has not ceased. I will go to the bathroom and not 10 minutes later I will feel like I have to go again. I am afraid that the medicine didn't clear the whole thing up. My question is this, is there something I can do besides go back to urgent care and spend money I don't have on tests and what not. I have no insurance, and don't make much money, so I am looking for a holistic way to treat the ailment.

Brief Answer:
UTI

Detailed Answer:
Hello.Delighted to be able to help.
Their symptoms are characteristic of urinary tract infection (lower urinary tract).
When after taking an antibiotic the symptoms persist, the most appropriate is to collect a urine sample to analyze and prescribe another antibiotic (with a doctor's prescription),that is the most effective method in the treatment of UTI.
If for various reasons,it is not possible, the most effective treatment of natural medicine widely used is the intake of XXXXXXX red cranberry (although its effectiveness is less than an antibiotic).
However say that if you had a fever, is not possible the use of XXXXXXX red cranberry and you need as soon as possible to go to an Emergency Service.
I Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions, I will be happy to help.If you do not have any clarifications, please don’t forget to evaluate my answer.I wish you good health.

I very much appreciate the response, but I have some concerns. Was the answer written via cell phone? The grammar and punctuation makes for a very difficult time reading the response. I get the basic gist of what you are trying to say, I have a UTI still, what I didn't understand was if the XXXXXXX cranberry will or will not help. You stated that rather poorly and the answer didn't get across the way that it should have. I will still head to the doctor for a stronger prescription of antibiotics, but to help with not getting another one in the future the information would be helpful.

Brief Answer:
Americal Cranberry will help UTI symptoms.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Delighted to be able to help.

Simplifying the answer:

Honestly, it would be better if you can get a new antibiotic prescribed after testing urine sample. But if you are looking for a holistic way to treat, XXXXXXX Cranberry can help you. It has proven to be effective in treating of UTI.

Since you have no insurance, you can start with cranberries and lots of fluids. I would push for antibiotics if you develop fever.

Sorry if my answer was not understood correctly.

I wish you good health.
