Brief Answer:
oc pills

Detailed Answer:
Hi there,
Welcome to HCM,

If the periods are not regularised inspite of the medications, then yes she needs to change them.

Can you let me know how PCOS was diagnosed, when her last ultrasound was done and how often does she take the regesterone.

She can start taking regular oral contraceptive pills, these will ensure she gets her periods every 28 days and also help with PCOS.

Rather than regesterone she should consider OC Pills.

Hope this helps.
Regards.

Oct 2014 pcos was diagnosed via sonography. And the last ultrasound was done in May 2015. Regestrone is taken by her every month twice for 5 days. OC tabs should be taken daily or when? Can u prescribe any.

Brief Answer:
femilon

Detailed Answer:
Hi there,

Tab Femilon can be taken, it is common OC pill used for regularizing the periods.
She can take them safely till she gets married and plans to have children.

They do not hamper her child bearing abilities and are known to help with pCOS symptom reversal.

ask her to start them from the first day of her next period.

Hope this helps.
Regards.
