Brief Answer:
Dietary habits have to be changed.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
As per your description, you were given appropriate medicines.
Apart from medicines, dietary habits have to be changed.
You should take plenty of liquids. You should also increase the intake of green leafy vegetables and fresh fruits.
If there is no response to the medicines, Surgery has to be done.
Surgery is a simple procedure.
Even after surgery, above dietary habits have to be followed.
I also add laxative to soften the stool.
Hard stools should not be passed. It aggravates the condition.
Hope I answered your query.
If you have any questions, I will clarify further.
Wish you good health.
Regards

Thank you for the recommendations..finally, would it be safe to apply the Nifedipine internally 4X a day instead of 2X. The doctor said to apply it twice a day externally...and i could dip the spposiitory in it before inserting. It seems to ease the spasm pain

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Nifedipine is used in the management of hypertension.
Recently, Ointment containing Nifedipine/Diltiazem was found to be useful in Anal fissure.
If you want to increase the number of times of application, please contact your doctor and proceed.
Please follow the dietary recommendations that I have mentioned earlier.
