Brief Answer:
better to get done some tests first.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, thanks for your question on HCM.
I can understand your situation and problem.
In my opinion you should get done few tests first.
1. Chest x ray and PFT (pulmonary function test)
2. Blood sugar estimation
3. 2d echo.
If you have uncontrolled COPD then it can cause you sleepless nights. So chest x ray and PFT is needed to estimate the extent of disease
Uncontrolled diabetes and hypertension can also cause heart damage and awakenings in night. So sugar estimation and 2d echo is needed.
If everything is under control and still you are not getting sleep, tean you may need sleep initiating drugs. These drugs will help you in avoiding stress and worries and initiate sleep.
Since these drugs are prescribed medicines, you need to consult psychiatrist for prescription.
So first rule out organic causes for your less sleep and if this is ruled out then consult psychiatrist and discuss your problem and need of sleep initiating drugs.
Hope I have solved your query.
I will be happy to help you further.
Wish you good health.
Thanks.
