Brief Answer:
Possible infection, Needs an Ultrasound along with clinical exam.

Detailed Answer:
Hi Mam,

I understand your query and concern.

As per your clinical symptoms pain in the said area likely points towards a Gall bladder disease with superimposed infection.

A Gall Bladder stone could be a possibility but this needs a validated accurate confirmation in the form of Ultrasound abdomen.

Hence I would advise you to go for a high resolution ultrasound or CT abdomen to document the exact cause and guide towards the therapy. At the same time, you need to be examined clinically by a physician. A well done abdominal exam can differentiate between a Gall bladder issue or a stone in the kidney, or a problem with the bowel.

You may also need blood work to check your liver function and your White Blood Cell count (a GB stone would alter your liver function slightly, an infection would raise your WBC count).

Meanwhile analgesics like Ibuprofen and a course of empirical antibiotics like Metranidazole can be taken under strict medical supervision (so you need to visit your primary doctor to get that prescription).

Post your further queries if any,
Thank you.
