Brief Answer:
It may be colic or nonspecific pain

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Welcome to HCM

I can understand your concern.
Crying in infancy can be due to colic or any non specific pain.
I won't get overly worried in absence of any other symptoms like fever, cough, cold, fast breathing, vomiting, any abnormal jerky movement.
Sometimes baby may suddenly get up from sleep and starts crying due to night terror.
So I would suggest you to try to make him calm by rocking movement, breast feed if possible and to give analgesic like paracetamol drop if you have any.
I hope he should stop crying after taking these measures. If crying persists even after this and it is more than 2 hrs better I would like to get him evaluated by a pediatrician in emergency room to find out any other problem.

I hope this helps.
Please let me know if you have any more query.
Take care.
Regards
