Question: 2 months ago,i was masturbating without lubrication. I had 2 small round burns. i used Intense Fast Healing Cream for a bout a week. it made the two burn bigger into one big round with thin and shine skin. I stopped using it and i started using Bioderma Cicabio Repairing ( has both antifungal and anti bacterial agents). Durung that period the wound stopped growing. However it start growing to the sides. I went to my PCP doctor and he said it is ringworm. He prescribed ecozole cream twice a day for 2 weeks. It has been a week and the infected skin is still growing. The area is itchey flaky when cream is not used. I'm circumcised 30 years old male and I've never been sexually active. I stopped masturbation too since i had this issue. I always take care of the hygiene of that area. I do not drink or smoke. my question are 1) is my doctor diagnosis correct? 2) how long it will take this to completely heal? is it okay to have sexual intercourse ? I have a picture that have my condition

Psoriasis

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the follow up and photograph.
It's looking like psoriasis an autoimmune disorder.
I treat such cases with topical application of a mild steroid cream like Cortisone twice daily for a week.

It is safe and effective and usually available over the counter.
Try this and let me know the response.

Thank you.
