Restart with the treatment and continue it for long term

Hello. Thank you for writing to us

I am d.kakkar(dermatologist).i have gone through your query and i have noted your concern

Judging from your treatment history, you seem to be having androgenetic alopecia which is characterised by hair loss and thinning mainly from the central part of the scalp i.e front, mid and vertex of scalp. Androgenetic slopevia is the most common cause of thinning and hair loss in males.

Minoxidil and finasteride are approved medications for androgenetic alopecia and need to be started early and continued long term to prevent progression and maintain improvement. Therefore i suggest you to re-start your treatment and continue it to sustain improvement. If therapy is stopped it is likely that the positive effects on hair growth would reverse in 3 months. Apart from mild scaling, dandruff due to minoxidil solution there are practically no other side effects with the treatment you were been prescribed and therefore it can be continued long term.

Brief Answer:
Treatment is long term

Detailed Answer:
Hi.

Rather tha Klosh capsules I would suggest you to take either Androanagen tablet Or Logihair capsules, once daily. You need to take it long term along with topical minoxidil solution.
PRP can very well be combined along with topical minoxidil and oral medications.

Brief Answer:
prp does not help much completely bald areas

Detailed Answer:
Hi.

I don't have any particular reference. You can search online. I am sure you will find many who do prp in delhi/ncr.
prp is usually performed every month for 3-4 sittings and thereafter maintenence sittings every 3 months.
It is expected that prp would increase hair density in areas affected by thinning and hair loss in androgenetic alopecia i.e the front and central part of scalp as well as improve quality of hair, however, completely bald areas usually don't respond to prp or respond only partially.
The only option for bald patches is hair transplant which can also be further combined with prp sessions.
