Question: red circular blotchy rash on my skin that is spreading. Started with 1 large ring shape and now all over my torso. Itchy. Now have flu like symptoms as well.

Thanks for being at healthcaremagic
I have reviewed the attached photographs and it is pityriasis rosea.
It is a self limiting disease associated with viral infection.
If I was your treating doctor I would recommend you to take tablet aciclovir 800 mg four times in a day for 1 week along with application of mild steroid like cortisone cream on the affected areas twice daily for 2 weeks.
Along with this I would recommend you to take antihistaminics like tablet Chlorpheniramine 4 mg once or twice daily depending on the intensity of itching.
Aciclovir is a prescription medicine and you need to see the doctor in person to get it.
This is a self limiting disease which usually takes 6-8 weeks to settle.

Thank you. I thought it might be pityriasis rosea however the flu symptoms that i currently have are not mild. Am feeling dreadful. Is this normal?
