Question: MY DAUGHTER 06YRS OF AGE GOT INFECTED TO CHICKEN POX 02 WEEKS AGO .SHE HAS DEVEPED AN IMPETIGO IN HER BACK WHICH IS RED &FILLED WITH PUS AND IS GETTING CONTINOUS FEVER RANGING FROM 100 TO 104 .CONSULTED CHILD SPECIALIST AND HAS ADVISED ACECOFLENAC & PARACETAMOL FOR 03 DAYS AND CEFIXIME 100 MG FOR 07 DAYS. KINDLY GUIDE AND SUGGEST ANTIBACTERIAL CREAM

Hi,
The problem will take some time. Did the chicken pox marks scab off and fell off? Did the doctor said the new ones as impetigo which is caused by bacteria?
Cefixime, Aceclofenac are good. You can apply T-BACT cream over the new patches twice a day after bath. Do not rub with soap, it should be light shower and quick.
Do not expose to direct sun, they burn a lot.
Let the child not go to school and play at home.
Give more water, coconut water, butter milk, barley etc to hydrate the child well.
