in continuation to the above, my wife had PCOS and was taking treatment, her doctor told to continue taking diamet along with susten and folic acid, i would like to know will this will help any manner?

in continuation, my wife has little bleeding (dark brown color), i had shown her to doctor and was not able to tell a correct answer, i would like to know how long this can continue, she has no abdominal pain or back ache till now. she has developed little cough due to cold condition, which medicine will be suitable for her at this stage?

Hi dear, it is not a good sign to have bleeding but still nothing conclusive can be stated except that it can be just implantation bleeding which will settle by itself or an early indication of impending abortion.
In latter case extra caution needs to be taken and thus rest is advised along with susten as advised for at least 15 days and thus you should avoid traveling as you were planning initially.
Since abortion process and implantation bleeding cannot be differentiated from each other, rest is the most important management.
For cough take tusq or strepsils lozenges 4-5 times a day and in case it gets severe visit a physician for proper examination as it can be an early sign of asthma and thus should not be taken lightly.
Ask her to avoid cold beverages and take lukewarm water always.
