Hi

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX,

Good day.
Noted your question.

I would like to know if your doctor investigated for the cause of low sperm count.
What is your height and weight ?
Any other problems like diabetes or thyroid disease?
How is your shaving frequency and body hair? Do you think your testivles have reduced in size recently ?
Any alcohol intake/smoking or any other drugs ?
Any history of mumps infection in past ?
Any swellings in testes or varicocele ?

Could you provide blood reports of LH, FSH, Prolactin, Testosterone ( all fasting samples), Thyroid function, Lipid profile, Blood sugar ? These are extremly important. I will appreaciate if you could attach these reports and your semen analysis report.

Again, Proxeed is a food supplement and may help. It is important to keep the temperature of your testes low. One more tablet which is proven to help in low sperm count is Alphalipoic acid 600 mg twice daily for 3-6 months. Clomid also may help. However, these are based on the cause of low sperm count. So it is extremly important to know the cause of low sperm count. Above mentioned tests may help

Brief Answer:
Hi

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I got your reports. However, semen analysis report is not there.
You are allmost 20 kg excess in weight. Reducing your weight may surely improve the sperm count. Also, i have not seen a blood sugar report and TESTOSTERONE report. If you have not done that, please do a fasting morning Testosterone and Sugar test ( between 7-9 am ).

Regular exercise also improve sperm count and motility.
Avoid tight underwear ( use a boxer instead of tight underwear) and use cold water baths and keep your testes in cold water 10-15 minutes daily.

Avoid exposure of testes to heat ( avoid keeping laptop on your lap).

There is no evidence that Proxeed will work, but you may try for few months. Clomiphene also may help to a certain extent. As i mentioned earlier, Aphalipoic acid 600 mg twice daily is another useful medicine.

testosterone levels were very low but since i started taking clomid they imrpoved i am also seeing more hair on the face with clomid but if i stop clomid my testosterone and lh fsh levels drop within 2 weeks. since testosterone and lh and fsh are important for producing sperms i am taking clomid again for last 1 month
and also started proxeed with it 1+1

i am again feeling active and my sex drive has improved a lot
as well. one problem i am facing is pain in my knees and feet could this be side effect of clomid

as you can see i had wbcs in my seman local dr gave me lefloxin for 15 days
as it was our fasting month ramadan i took antibiotics at 7 pm and 3 am as we had to fast in between could my knee pain and feet pain be becuase of that my uric acid is also 7.06 is it too high to cause me pain

do you need any other reports

i want to find the cause of my low sperm count and i think it is hidden in my hormones since i had very low fsh and lh and t levels.now that they are better i hope to see my count go up in 3 months

but is it safe to take clomid for 3-6 months ?

Brief Answer:
Hi

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Sorry for the late reply. I was in my clinic and just got over.
Noted the reports ad also that your LH, FSH and Testosterone were low earlier. ( how low was it?).
In this case, you have a thing called hypogonadotropic hypogonadism. In this, your pituitary will not produce enough LH and FSH.

How is your smell sensation? What about Thyroid function ?

Did you ever have an MRI scan of pituitary ? ( this may be necessary).

I feel in your case, you may respond to FSH/HCG injections rather than Clomid. ( after checking the MRI of pituitary). Since your testicular volume is good, you may respond to this kind of treatment.

Clomid is not so effective in improving sperm count.

Please meet an endocrinologist who can exaine you and suggest further evaluation.

Brief Answer:
Hi

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
I do not think your uric acid elevation is due to these drugs. You must cut down the amount of red meat etc. Uric acid also go high with obesity, weight gain etc. ( metabolic syndrome).

Zyloric is taken in 100-300 mg daily
