I have a been suffering from increased Uric Acid and subsequent "gout attack" for sometime now. Though I have controlled my diet considerably (not taking purines at all) and doing some excercise to have reduced weight (from 110 - 94 Kgs) now, still my uric acid count is 9.2.
I am a pure vegetarian, used to have eggs sometime which I am completely avoiding now (almost a year since I had egg).
Tried many medications including homeopathy, ayurvedic and allopathic. None have succeeded in completely curing this problem. It helps only temporarily before recurring in about 6 months.
