1. Your ultrasound scan abdomen shows diffuse fatty liver. There are many causes of liver showing fatty changes as given below

(i) Increased intake of fatty foods and alcohol
(ii) Over weight and obese patients.
(iii) Those who have fatty liver running in family members.
(iv) Any liver condition that is changing appearance of liver.
(v) Mild fatty liver can also be there in many normal people

2. It is important to do liver function test and know if there is any problem in liver which is causing your fatty liver.

It is advised that you get following tests done
(i) liver function tests including SGPT, SGOT, Alkaline phosphatase, GGT, total direct and indirect bilirubin and proteins
(ii) lipid profile test to know if you have elevated cholesterol levels
(iii) random blood sugar level

If the above liver function test, lipid profile and blood sugar are normal then there is no need to consult gastroenterologist.

3. If you have any cause like alcohol intake and eating fatty foods then please control them.

4. Homeopathy and allopathy are two different systems of medicine. Many people choose to get treated by homeopathy.
