I had gone through your question and understand your concerns ..

For my patients i may suggest painkillers like NSAIDs ( non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs ) tylenol 400 mg tabs twice after meals , hot massages with topical gels like voltaren gels , muscle relaxants like tinazidine 5 mg tabs once or twice , B12 vitamin supplementation , physiotherapy and spinal straightening exercises will be effective for most of cases .
You may avoid heavy lifting , vigorous movements , bad sleeping or sitting postures , standing for a long time will be fine .
If pain persists i recommend an MRI and visit your physician for proper evaluation and management .
